Drive Thru and Walk Up Food Distribution Day
Time & Location
About the Event
A valid driver's license or state i.d. card is all that is required to participate. If either has expired because of COVID-19, please bring anyway as participants will still be able to receive food.
WALK UP INSTRUCTIONS: A tent will be located on Bridge Avenue; clients will wait in a socially distanced line and masks are required.
DRIVE THRU INSTRUCTIONS: Cars will line up on Bridge Avenue and continue westward. Participants will remain in their cars and food will be placed in the trunk. TO MINIMIZE CONTACT, PARTICIPANTS ARE ASKED TO PROVIDE ENOUGH TRUNK SPACE FOR FOOD so it does not have to be placed inside of the car.
WALK UP AND DRIVE THRU: You can authorize someone else (known as a proxy) to pick up food on your behalf. The person you select must have a letter at the time of food distribution that contains the following information: the recipient’s name, the name of the person picking up food, the day of the distribution (11/25/20) and the recipient’s signature. This letter can be handwritten.
IF NO VEHICLE OR PROXY IS AVAILABLE, please call the May Dugan Center at 216-631-5800 x300 between 10am-3pm on Tuesday November 24th. If you are connected to voicemail, please leave a message and someone will return your call as soon as possible.
